KwaZulu-Natal's premier cycling event, the Tsogo Sun Amashova Durban Classic is the oldest classical cycling event in South Africa, founded in 1986.
Last year, a total of more than 10,000 participants took the start in this big mass-participation event between the city of Pietermaritzburg, famous for their UCI World Championships and Worldcups in different cycling disciplines and the city of Durban with finish on the beautiful Suncoast on Durban’s Golden Mile. Tsogo Sun Amashova Durban Classic will be a UWCT qualifier for the second year.
