Whether you’re a confirmed triathlete or you’re simply keen to set yourself a fresh challenge, the Garmin Triathlon de Paris – Ile de France is geared towards athletes everywhere wishing to excel in an extraordinary setting. The event is open to all (members or non-members). Registration for the Garmin Triathlon de Paris-Ile de France is solely possible online.
From Choisy-Le-Roi to the Eiffel Tower, the Garmin Triathlon de Paris Ile-de-France brings you from Greater Paris to the centre of Paris via a wealth of Parisian monuments like the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand station, the Gare de Lyon station, the Quai Branly museum and of course the Eiffel Tower, with the River Seine accompanying you for a large part of the course.
The course:
Straight-line swim – 1,500m – Parc Interdépartemental des Sports in Choisy-Le-Roi (NB. athletes will be eliminated on exiting the water after 1 hour of swimming)
Straight-line cycling closed to traffic between the Choisy-Le-Roi watersports base and the Eiffel Tower - 40km (NB. athletes will be eliminated at the entrance to the transition zone after 3hrs30 of racing)
Running one 10km looped circuit – finish at the foot of the Eiffel Tower at the Stade Emile Anthoine*
